Universal Studios in Florida this park was first planed as a film park to show the audience how the film business works. Today the Universal Complex consists of 2 theme parks - Universal Studios Florida and The Islands of Adventure - and the entertainment complex Universal City Walk.

The numbers of visitors during the week are higher than on weekends. Therefore it is recommended to plan a visit of this park for a weekend. To see all the attractions and to be able to use all of them you should plan at least 2 days for this park during the peak season. In the off season when the opening times are usually shorter 3 days are more appropriate.

Most attractions in "The Islands of Adventure” park are not suitable for small children because the rides often have a height limit. The children must have a certain body size so that the safety bar and belts work properly and the safety can be guaranteed.

For the shows in the parks it is important to know that you have to be there 15 minutes before the show starts so that you can get the best seat.

If you would like to be a part of a live recording show you have to contact the guest services and ask when and where the television broadcast shows are recorded. For these special events there exists a visitor limit and therefore you need a ticket. You can get this ticket at the guest services.

Universal Studios Florida also offers VIP tours. On these tours you benefit from reduced visitor lines in front of the attractions and may participate on a tour behind the scenes.

For the two described entertainment parks you have to pay admission. The entertainment complex Universal City Walk which connects the two parks with each other is free. There you may stroll, shop and eat without any admission.

The open-air concerts and street performance are also free. The cinema and the clubs in the entertainment complex, however, cost admission because there are often popular musicians who get paid for their performance.

The clubs are open from 4 pm. The entire Universal City Walk complex is open to the public till 2 am in the morning.
