Behavior in Florida USA.

Florida has a pleasant subtropical climate and is therefore one of the preferred retirement locations within the United States. Just like the birds in the winter elder people are attracted to come into this most southern state on the mainland.

Unlike many other people, people in Florida take time for every task. This perception of time is everywhere to feel and is transferred to the surroundings. The most people whether old or young are very relaxed and adjust their behavior to the climatic conditions. As a result most people are very polite, friendly and balanced.

On the other hand the Floridians are very conservative. As daily clothes shorts and T-shirt are everywhere even in beach bars. But it is strictly prohibited to sunbathe topless on the beach. This prohibition is even monitored with helicopters and if you do not honor this prohibition there will be hard sanction.

Another important thing to remember is that it is normally forbidden to photograph in public buildings. These include all government and government buildings as well as theaters, concert halls, museums and clubs. The Americans feared that terrorist or other criminals may spy in these buildings and use their knowledge to commit a crime. If you are not sure whether you may take pictures or not please ask the staff.

Please remember: in buses, trains, taxis and in public buildings you are not allowed to smoke. In restaurant there are usually separate smoking areas.
